Thutmose's Dream Stela may confirm the Passover event

Dream Stela, found between the paws of the Great Sphinx, may be confirmation of the 'Death of the Firstborn Plague' event.

"And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the captive who was in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of the livestock." - Exodus 12: 29

Interestingly, a red granite slab stands between the Sphinx's paws - this tells the story of Thutmose IV. It is called the Dream Stela. Thutmose IV ruled Egypt @ 1400 BC. His father was Amenhotep II - the pharaoh of the Exodus (the pharoah mentioned in the verse above).

What makes this Stela so profound is that Thutmose IV recounts his unexpected ascension to the throne. It would seem by implication therefore, that Thutmose's older brother had died prematurely. If Thutmose had been the firstborn, there would have been nothing unexpected about his rise to the throne!

The Dream Stela may provide us eyewitness testimony to events mentioned in the Bible.
