"Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place." Job 38: 19

Some scientists say this verse evidences an understanding that light has properties and darkness is merely the absence of light. Light has a "way" as it were in that it travels at 186,000 miles per second.

"Can you send out lightning, that they may go, and say to you, 'Here we are!’" Job 38: 35

"The Bible here is saying what scientists thought was a ludicrous statement: light can be sent and then manifest itself in speech. But did you know that radio waves move at the speed of light? This is why you can have instantaneous wireless communication with someone on the other side of the earth. Science did not discover this until 1864 when "the British scientist James Clerk Maxwell suggested that electricity and light waves were two forms of the same thing"
